Classically, the HIV/AIDS-related lymphomas are of the B cell type and involve the central nervous system and the abdominal cavity. Primary maxillary sinus lymphoma is rare. Plasmablastic lymphoma (PBL) is an aggressive form of non-Hodgkinvs lymphoma, and is extremely rare.
